honey, you’re baking me crazy BANANA BROWNIES

We’re all doing our part to protect ourselves, our families and our communities by staying home and by social distancing. This recipe is sure to ease and brighten any in-house tension that may arise in these times! You can make my moist and soft Banana Brownies with basic ingredients found around your house.

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 1 - 2 tsp honey

  • 1 pkg Vanilla Sugar

  • 1/2 cup almond butter

  • 3/4 cup flour

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • 1 small bowl

  • 1 large bowl

  • Mixing spoons

  • 8x8 baking tray

  • Butter to line the baking tray

Recipe:

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Coat an 8x8 pan with butter to reduce sticking.

  3. In the small bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt together.

  4. In the large bowl, mush up the bananas with your honey, egg, almond butter, and vanilla sugar.

  5. Pour the mixture from your small bowl into your large bowl. Mix together.
    Pro Tip: Mix together for a few seconds until it's blended. Do not overmix!

  6. Pour your mixture into the baking pan. Spread it out evenly.

  7. Put your brownies in the oven for 22 minutes.

  8. Once finished, set your brownies aside to cool for 15 minutes.

Cut into squares, plate and enjoy!
