EASY EGGS & HAM
A Quick & Easy Breakfast Recipe to fuel the whole family!
Ingredients: (for 2)
Blue Danube Dry Cured Ontario Pork Schinken Spec ( at least 5 slices)
Blue Danube Granulated Garlic
Blue Danube Double Smoked Cheddar Cheese - shredded
6 Eggs
Milk (approx 1/4 cup)
Salt & Pepper
Oil for frying pan
Frying pan
Large bowl
OPTIONAL: Vegetables, Blue Danube Dark Rye Bread, Butter
Recipe: (for 2)
Pour a thin layer of oil into frying pan and preheat on medium heat
In a large bowl, crack 6 eggs. Add milk, salt, pepper and Blue Danube Granulated Garlic. Pro Tip: For a leaner omlette, add another 2-3 eggs and only use the egg whites!
Whip up eggs with a fork for at least three minutes or until consistency is uniform and all egg yolks are blended. Pro Tip: The longer you whip your eggs, the better!
Add shredded Blue Danube Cheddar cheese to egg mixture
Cut up Blue Danube Dry Cured Schinken Spec into small squares. Pro Tip: For a leaner omelette, cut the strip of fat off the side of each slice and discard.
Add Blue Danube Schinken Spec to the egg mixture and mix
Once mixed, pour the egg mixture into your frying pan with heat at medium low. Fry until eggs are completely cooked. Pro Tip: Scrample up eggs with a rubber/plastic spatula/spoon several times while frying to keep eggs fluffy.
OPTIONAL: Toast four pieces of toast using Blue Danube dark rye bread and add butter. Cut up fresh veggies and add salt.
